Cheaper threads start to fray & knot after 10 or so cross stitches, especially on 18ct & higher Aida, but the DMC stays together making for a much more relaxing and fun stitching experience.
I bought this evenweave for a special project I started last year.... a series of designs by Peter Underhill called Golden Years. It was a perfect background. The 28ct evenweave gives each project a lovely finish.

Love the Nurge hoops. I feel they keep better tension than my bamboo round hoop. They are easy to put on and take off. Loving them.
